18.01.2022 No Launching into Learning. Hello and I hope this finds you well. In case you hadnt heard, there will be no Launching into Learning play group during Term 2. Cant wait to see you all again when we can I will let you know as soon as I hear when we can restart. Meanwhile, please keep reading picture books, talking, singing nursery rhymes, cooking, going for walks etc . All the lovely things you normally do! The ABC has lots of quality childrens programs that you might lik...e to dip into, perhaps for some music/singing, stories and craft. During this week I will get some tutoring on how to load an online playgroup on to Facebook from my 20 year old daughter. You may hear her groans of AHH MUM all the way from Devonport as I am such a tech dinosaur. For the playgroup, I will read a story and sing some action songs and nursery rhymes. The session will be approximately ten minutes no obligation to watch, but an option if you would like to. Please contact me if I can be of any help, or just or a chat. Best wishes, Faith Mackey See more

17.01.2022 A special surprise this morning for the kids at Riana Primary School this morning. The grade 2/3 class had all taken the time to write letters to the Prime Mini...ster Scott Morrison (ScoMo) on what they’d do if they were Prime Minister. There were some fantastic ideas in there. So good in fact, that the Prime Minister himself went out of his way to jump on a call with the kids and talk about their ideas. Thank you to Walter, Charlie, Elijah, Jake, Leven, Hunter, Dominic, Daisy, Ajay, Ethan, Violet, Rory, Amy, Pippin, Estelle, Harry, Sienna, Reede, Jacob, Lauren, and Chrissy for your fantastic letters.

05.01.2022 Go Riana Primary kids!

05.01.2022 I can feel the excitement because children will return to school on Monday. Teachers will be in the foyer on Monday to greet returning children. Some will be ve...ry excited but some may be a little bit anxious so teachers will be there to help. Mr Hudson will be down at the bus drop off to greet children there. Students that have been at school will help returning students with new hand washing procedures and any other things that are new. These students are very excited that their friends will be back. Please remember that we want parents to stay outside the school. The preferred drop off point is at the front door. There is a bell in the foyer for parents to use if you need to speak to someone. Have a great weekend.
