13.01.2022 So excited that "See You Again" is radio-ready and has been entered into the triple j and triple j Unearthed High competition! A huge thank you to Dave Goode from The Potbelleez for producing, Brian Cobb from Brazen Lot for studio time, Ilan Kidron for finetuning the vocals, and Kevin Kelly for the beautiful Low D tin whistle and Irish bodhran drum that sounds like a heartbeat. Many of you will know that I wrote this song for Danny Abdallah, Leila GeaGea Abdallah and Bridg...et Jajou Sakr whose 4 children were tragically run over in March this year. This song was very personal as my Dad knows their families and I had met the children, and I wanted to express the enormous loss that the parents were feeling, and what they would like to say to their children in Heaven. "See You Again" will resonate with anyone who has lost someone unexpectedly, maybe even from the Covid pandemic which is claiming so many innocent lives.
