While he was originally trained in classical French methods, Kim has since broadened his repertoire of culinary skills, working throughout South Australia in fine dining restaurants and local bistros, gaining expertise in Mediterranean and classical Italian cuisine. Throughout his successful career, Kim has been driven by his love of food but it was not until a recent culinary and cultural journey to Vietnam (to explore his heritage) that he realised his true passion lies in Asian cuisines. Using fresh, seasonal produce, Kim has introduced an exciting modern Asian menu packed with flavour at Rice Cafe, a true expression of his talent and creativity, for you to enjoy.
