20.01.2022 Results have final come back. Not what we wanted but at least we know what we are dealing with. So sorry for the rabbits that have been lost, we could not vaccinate for this strain
19.01.2022 No deaths for 2 days and 2 litters born I know from others experiences to expect a 2nd wave but I am a little tempted to ring some Nethie kits All our best stock gone but 6 year old mini lop buck Destry is still with us
15.01.2022 I thought we were in a bubble up here in Echuca and had pretty good biosecurity but I suspect Calici has found us and we are in lockdown. We have had 6 deaths of perfectly healthy rabbits since Wednesday night. And others looking not at all well. The hardest part is telling Breeders that have entrusted me with their good stock that the rabbit has passed. We have taken a sample and I I’ll send in the post today. Please take care as it seems not even in Winter are we safe

10.01.2022 Since last Wednesday night (July 7) 21 beautiful souls (and still not finished) have left us through no fault of their own. We started with 50. I sent a sample away Friday but I don’t know when to expect a result. The hardest losses have been the rare breeds with the awful loss of Korruptobit Gabe, Edie and all their kits (standard Cashies) and my Angoras Alicia’s Wabbidashery Live to Rise, Aminya Sans Are Torque’n and ALL their offspring. I only have 2 Angoras (Ella and But...tercup) and 2 Standard Cashies (both does) and 1 mini Cashie left. We’ve lost mini lops and Nethies too, but not too many but very special ones including my love Bedlam Bunnies State of Flux and a kit (one other is still with us), BWB McKnight and Candylane Smokehaze. Vaccinated, unvaccinated, kits, juniors and Adults all hit. Spray spray spray with F10 and Virkon does not seem to be helping. More nice messages are being received than harsh ones; which is a relief.
