While all around the house machinery and men are removing all the burnt houses a little early sojourn down the burnt dodgy steps to our little beach for the first bracing swim of summer( where did it go). I came across foot and tail prints from Mr and Mrs Roo on the beach( full moon low tide) and regrowth everywhere . Heartening and so beautiful to have it all to myself.
