17.01.2022 This project in Newtown is nearly complete. Inner West Council. Design, DA & CC approval and construction.... More of the interior taking shape. I am most excited by the huge hydraulic lift glass door opening onto the terrace floor. I've never done that before ! Give me a call if you need help with your new project. 0431 388 182.
15.01.2022 A dream project in Dulwich Hill. From sketch design to council approvals, building and interiors. These clients have excellent taste and were willing to take on my boldest suggestions. Yay ! Another secret addition hidden behind the existing Federation era house with streetscape conservation controls. ... We retained the original residence, included a new big green bathroom in the original footprint, and demolished the rear outdated utility rooms. These were replaced with two new split level modern pavilions separated by a small landscaped pond, with sliding glass doors opening to the private garden and district views. This new kitchen and living area captures the north east sunlight and the highlight louvred windows, sliding doors and pond allow for passive cooling and cross ventilation. There is also a new laundry and store room with separate service access. My wonderful clients Clytie and Geoff, as seen on the restored and rebuilt porch, are very happy with the results. 12.01.2022 I just received these photos of the first part of the complete interior redesign of this beautiful project in Mosman for my clients Frances and Olly. This new kitchen used to be the living room...I can't wait to see the rest of the house. From drawings to reality.
06.01.2022 DA submitted to Canada Bay Council for this great project. Constructing a new light filled and modern pavilion that opens directly to the backyard, replacing a bunch of squashed up old service rooms. The original federation semi is retained and restored, and is linked to the addition by a new bathroom and laundry. If you have a similar project we'd love to help. RC
02.01.2022 This amazing project in Newtown is nearly fully formed. It is still a thrill to see concept become reality. Some random pictures at the lock-up stage. Happy client Marek is featured ! The Federation era semi-detached cottage now hides a 3 storey contemporary house inside. Double garage, basement cinema and cellar, split level kitchen, dining and living opening to huge terrace, 4 beds, 3 baths and a sunken sitting area with two storey glass atrium.... What more could you want?
