14.02.2022 New deck great for outdoor entertainment. Built with hardwood dressed pencil round joists and bearers all same timber species not mixed which eliminates un-even shrinkage. Strength of timber is f17 will strengthen to f27 with age. Joist protection strips on all joists to prevent rotting on the future all timber sealed with oil based paint to stop moisture in the ends of the timber. Decking is 140x19mm hardwood Kwila screwed with 12gauge stainless steel screws in a staggered pattern to prevent joist split. Deck built on 75x75 galvanised steel posts. The perfect way to make your deck last for many years.
