26.01.2022 Winter is coming......... Did you know that a typical split air conditioner is generally more efficient in heating a room than other traditional sources? Lets take the good old 2400w bar heater. These will use 10 Amps worth of electricity while running. (2400watts / 240 volts). How warm does a room feel with one of these? Hot in front of the heater, cold everywhere else around it. A new Mitsubishi 5kw Split Air Conditioner (as an example) is rated at 6.5 Amps and will heat a... room of around 30sqm.
