25.01.2022 PERTH PROPERTY MARKET UPDATE The market transactions are now back to where they were pre covid. The only difference is there is less property for sale and more buyer demand. ... The Perth property market was already in recovery mode since October 2019. The covid crisis did impact our market by slowing transactions in the month of April. The fundamentals wont change for Perth; recovery mode after a prolonged downturn, there is less property for sale and rent - 30% less than 12 months ago, buyer demand is up, there is less property that was built and less apartments under construction than should be further impacting the supply issue, the rental market has been steadily improving for a couple years and the vacancy rate is only 2.4%.
