19.01.2022 Important Information Regarding The Raffle Draw Traditionally the raffle is drawn in conjunction with the Sevenhill Penwortham CFS Community Christmas BBQ. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 restrictions, the BBQ cannot be held this year, however the raffle draw will still go ahead. The Richardson Park committee will meet at Madonna Hall on Tuesday to undertake the official draw which will be live streamed to Facebook. Following the draw, the committee will be having a Christmas Drink at the Sevenhill Hotel - please feel free to join us there from around 7.30pm Winners will be notified shortly after the draw so that collection of prizes can be arranged.

Have you checked out SA Rocks yet? It's a closed group so I can't share it but you can ask to join and check out the frequently asked questions. It's basically a statewide game of hide and seek using painted rocks! Create your own art piece, seal it, post on the SA Rocks page and then hide. Whilst hiding try and find others. 06.01.2022 The Sevenhill Playspace is a positive and wonderful community area and we don’t like to have any negativity around the site itself or our Facebook page, but unfortunately the recent actions of unknown persons has upset us. Over the last week, someone has decided to fill the bins located at the Playspace and oval with their personal household rubbish. These bins are there for the use of visitors to the site and not for people to dump all their own rubbish in. To make matters w...orse, a box full of rubbish was even dumped in the gatekeepers hut at the entrance of the facility. Please remember that this area IS NOT a council facility so all the maintenance within the area is done by community members and the Sevenhill Cricket Club who donate hundreds of hours of their time every year as well as their own personal equipment to keep the area clean and enjoyable for everyone. If anyone has information about who may be responsible for the dumping of this rubbish, we would love to hear from you so please feel free to contact us through messenger or otherwise a contact number for our volunteer facility manager can be found on the sign at the entrance off College Road. To the person or persons responsible for the dumping of the rubbish - if you are reading this, remember that the council waste transfer station is free for residents of the council area so next time, please take time out of your own day to dispose of your rubbish in the appropriate manner, rather than making it someone else’s problem to deal with.

05.01.2022 Did you know that the Sevenhill Playspace, Madonna Hall (the town hall) and letter boxes are looked after by a team of volunteers and predominately funded through generous donations and fundraising? Our major fundraiser every year is the annual Christmas Stocking Raffle with first prize being the big stocking. Standing at around 1.6 metres high and nearly half a metre wide, the stocking is chock a block full of goodies donated by our generous community members. 05.01.2022 Wow times have changed, we hope that you and your family enjoys the Playspace Sevenhill SACWA has created at Richardson Park in Sevenhill. It's not quite as 'risky' as this one but it will help your children to make assessed risks about how they play and be adventurous in their world. This will then give them future confidence in all areas of their decision making. A beneficial life skill to learn as early as possible! Enjoy xxx
