15.01.2022 Thank you TASMANIANS! We are overwhelmed with the support our fellow Tasmanians are showing us in these unusual times on our return to cruising. We thank you al...l for choosing a truly local business as we navigate such unchartered territory that is COVID-19. We adore sharing our beautiful backyard, and thank you for supporting us as we prepare to launch our brand new vessel. It has been a stressful time, but how lucky are we to have our fellow Taswegians by our side to see this through. It is only a little over 4 weeks until we show off our brand new boat - and boy are we excited... we hope you are too!

14.01.2022 Welcome to your new home Harbour Master II. We know you will be very happy here!!! An amazing trip around from Hobart, and a beautiful welcoming committee waiting for us.

14.01.2022 Ready for official launch day tomorrow! We are all very excited to be able to show off our new edition!

14.01.2022 This is AMAZING! The operators of the Bruny Island ferry company have been working with the Tasmanian Aboriginal Community to name their new vessel, and they'...ve finally landed on a name! Meet 'Parrabah', meaning 'whale' in the south east aboriginal language - the new ferry which will service Bruny Island from late April! In the words of Rodney Dillon from the South East Tasmanian Aboriginal corporation - "this is what Truganini would have called the whales" - referring to the 1812 - 1876 Bruny resident. Sealink, the operators of the service, promise the new Tasmanian made vessel will be able to transport locals and visitors across the D’Entrecasteaux Channel between Kettering and Roberts Point in roughly 20 minutes.

13.01.2022 Big day at RDM with the launch of Hull 075. The first of two ferries for SeaLink Bruny Island - well done to all of the crew at RDM - they've worked tirelessly to get this boat out on time and haven't compromised on quality. Also thanks to our vast array of contractors and suppliers and of course Incat Crowther for their design.

11.01.2022 Timetable for Australian TV viewers

10.01.2022 The first of four Incat Crowther 12s has arrived in Brisbane to help out on the CityHopper route. The CityHopper route is a free hop-on / hop-off service on Bri...sbane River, served by ageing timber ferries that have been taken out of service for maintenance. Cockle Bay and her sister ships are a great fit for this operation, with single-handed operation, excellent proximity and visibility to the boarding areas along with lightweight, low-resistance hulls. They are faster, brighter, quieter and cleaner than the existing vessels. To see the Channel 7 article, click here: https://bit.ly/2Zd7chT

05.01.2022 Well, it is really taking shape now, we have moved our timelapse camera so we can get a really good look at the new boat, and what a sight it is. As restriction...s start to lift slowly, what seemed like a nightmare a month or so ago, is now starting to feel like the pain and hardship may be easier to bare as this beauty takes shape. Wonder what we should call this lovely vessel? See more
