We're thrilled to launch our demonstration eve...nt, Rescue in the River, presented by Richglen Maintenance Services on October 31 at 10.30am in the Pioneer River. #RACQ #CQRescue is incredibly excited to showcase the skills and talents of our rescue helicopter crew and also thank our community for your incredible ongoing support during this unprecedented year. You can watch from the various vantage points along the Pioneer River including the Bluewater Trail, Bluewater Quay, Bluewater Lagoon and the River Street boat ramp as #RACQ #CQRescue demonstrates various winch and search and rescue operations with the help of VMR 448 Mackay. 14.01.2022 This week Richglen provided upskilling for some of our tradesman Guy Roberts lead the program ably supported by Boilermaker Supervisor Joel Hendrie who helped with the Welding training and introductory work with the Electricians on day two, and Hayden Ferris who showed the group how to conduct machining operations on the centre lathes and overhead milling machines. We would also like to thank the Mackay Engineering College Trade Training Centre for providing the top cla...ss, well maintained facilities and a special mention to their teacher Bevan Appleby who was a marvelous help in volunteering his time to keeping the days running smoothly and giving valuable advice to the crew. It was a pleasure for Richglen to offer these opportunities to our people to hone their skills. Thanks also to the employees who mostly travelled long distances to be part of the program. The positive feedback received means when time and availability allows we will certainly look at doing more of the same in the future.
