11.01.2022 Day 4: I love being on the road, I really do, especially if I don't have to change gears, brake, go up a hill or be anywhere the speed limit is over 80. After chilling out in beautiful Sawtell it was time to do the Coffs to Grafton part of the journey & if someone gives me the finger again the next time they speed past me I'll try & catch up with them in the next life. Adrian is sitting down (again) at the Ulmarra Hotel having a refreshing XXXX & a toastie & I'm sitting on the street in the rain appreciating the mighty Clarence, We don't have many mighty rivers but she is. Oh if it was a sunny day not bucketing down this is what it would all look like.

07.01.2022 Day 2: We spent the day swanning around Kempsey, which is probably not the best place to swan around me thinks, however the $9 roast beef & schooner of XXXX at the 70's nautically themed Kempsey Hotel transformed our stop in the most depressing town on the North Coast. Putting metal to the floor at 80k's an hour we pulled into Sawtell a few hours later & by the way we managed to take over 1 car on the hwy - an old dude in a beaten up Barina - thanks old dude. Geez I love a good caravan park by the sea. All the grey nomads sitting in the afternoon sun reading biographies on John Howard. Seriously it's folks coming together for a common purpose & that's to do everything you wouldn't normally do at home & I love it. Adrian is reading a self-help book & drinking a rum & coke left over from Wollombi Music Festival - perfect.
