24.01.2022 What is it about cows and fertiliser. We were out again spreading some of the good stuff on a few oats paddocks. Another beautiful spring day. Another shower would be perfect. Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend.

22.01.2022 A client is getting ready to plant Lucerne. So we need to assess the sub soil as well as the top. Paddock has been fallowed since November following a silage cut. Fallow has been well managed with almost a full profile of moisture (top 25mm still dry). Paddock layout is slightly undulating, with only a small section showing a clay layer at depth. So with good management, they should achieve a productive Lucerne stand. All cores reached 115cm. Samples are still at the lab. Looking forward to the results. Cores are driven with a petrol powered star post driver. And are removed with a manual lifter. Time consuming but well worth the effort. It pays to know.

22.01.2022 It’s time to start thinking about fodder. Hopefully the season goes in the right direction for it.

21.01.2022 Another job finished today. As they say, just add water. This paddock is sown with an annual ryegrass for winter grazing and hay production. It will be fallowed over summer and sown to permanent pasture next year. It was a pleasure helping the customer get this sown in a short time period.

16.01.2022 And so it begins. #silage18

15.01.2022 The team would like to wish all our valued clients a safe and happy festive season. It has been a pleasure working with you in 2017. Here’s to a prosperous 2018.

07.01.2022 With some rain around, we have been spreading urea on crops and improved pastures as producers look to increase forage yield for winter grazing. So far, the weather forecast has been kind with our applications. I wonder if every time I put fertiliser out, it rained the next day. Wishful thinking. But for the moment, Best laid plans are bringing rewards.

07.01.2022 Couple from remote NSW seeking a furnished apartment near Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Camperdown until March. They were flown to Sydney in early december for a...n emergency procedure to deliver a 16week preme baby in RPA and have been there ever since. Ideally needs to be close to RPA or public transport as no car but would consider anything nearby. They are struggling to keep up with current cost of accommodation so Any help or advice greatly appreciated. See more

06.01.2022 Lambs getting their first taste of fescue. It might have been sown on April fools day, but there is nothing silly going on here. Can't wait for spring. Another happy customer.

06.01.2022 Great article in The Land this week on Knight Italian ryegrass! Check it out: http://ow.ly/JxaV30i6rdW #behindtheseeds #knightitalianryegrass

01.01.2022 Spent the afternoon today at Bannaby Angus top dressing paddocks in readiness for hay production. Rain is predicted for this week. It would be nice if we did see some action in rain gauges. Had a few curious onlookers that would've loved to slip through the gate. Please drop me a line if you would like to talk about fertiliser spreading in pastures and forage crops.
