Grown on the Groves family farm in Queensland #avozillas originated in South Africa and are a cross-breed of the Guatemalan avocado and the larger, West Indian avocado. Weighing upto 1.8kg and roughly 5 times the size of a regular avocado, they are similar in flavour to regular avocados with a slightly more buttery and creamier texture that’s easier to spread. If they’re everything you’ve Avo wanted, get in store quick as stock is limited!!

In 2016 Gelato Messina purchased their own dairy farm in Numurkah Victoria with over 450 Jersey cows to become self sufficient in their milk supply and creating the highest quality milk for their gelato. The Jersey cows are completely pasture fed on grass, natural lucerne, and clover, not grains. The milk is unhomogenised, meaning the cream rises to the top, just like in the good old days! In May Messina milk was announced as a state winner in the 2020 Delicious Produce Awards. Great for your morning coffee, making the creamiest milkshakes or drinking straight from the bottle!
