25.01.2022 This Wednesday we’re getting into the Easter spirit with another Hot Cross Bun Fundraising Drive. We have partnered with Swan Street Bakery to deliver delicious freshly baked hot cross buns to RCK for a little Easter fundraising. Numbers are limited and any support is greatly appreciated! Dates available for Hot Cross Buns (will inform if anything changes) Wednesday 25th March... Wednesday 1st April Wednesday 8th of April Come get your hot cross buns from RCK 1 bun for $2 or 3 buns for $5. First come best dressed!

23.01.2022 Emily Bruckard from Bunnings Hawthorn stopped by RCK Friday to help us to set up some donated umbrellas for the main yard. We are looking forward to support from the 3121 community for our sizzle there on 22.3.20. It’s an important fundraiser for our kinder so all support is very much appreciated!

11.01.2022 As we are deemed to be an essential service, we will remain open as normal until any government instructions are issued to not do so, or a positive within the RCK community forces us to close. Everyone will no doubt have their own set of challenges to navigate as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak - but we remain optimistic about our shared resilience as we work our way through the coming weeks and months. We are grateful that we get to do little bits of fund raising for the creche; and also support our friend Kate from Swan St bakery with her small business. We managed to raise $187.40 for this fund raiser. All hot cross buns went very quickly even after second batch arrived! To those who have got the buns, enjoy!... We do apologised to those who have missed out on the yummy buns. Swan St bakery will be open until Saturday at 12 noon for your Easter pastry needs. 01.01.2022 This month we congratulate Gretchen Sammut for her passion and dedication towards her role. Last month she has gone above and beyond her role participating in cooking, being in the events com team, creating a warm environment with her team in the Beetles room and also spreading her vibrant personality around! Gretchen is a versatile educator and enjoys having fun with the kids whilst teaching and also learning with them at the same time. Gretchen is working towards completin...g her Diploma in Early Childhood Services and we are proud that she is doing very well in her enrolled course. Gretchen loves cooking and once in a while you will see her floating around the centre either relieving Ange and/or in other rooms doing cooking activities. Gretchen also enjoys painting and gardening during her spare time. Gretchen currently works full time in the Beetles room. She also has a son Hunter who is also an active student in the Grasshoppers room! Well done Gretchen and thank you for all the great work!
