24.01.2022 *Notice to RCC Members and Supporters* Today we relaunch the iconic Richmond Cricket Club name. For the last 9 seasons the Richmond Cricket Club has traded as the Monash Tigers. That decision was made coinciding with the departure of the Club from Punt Road, moving to Central Reserve Glen Waverley in the City of Monash.... I wanted to personally advise you, ahead of today’s announcement to the mainstream media and our Club social media platforms, that the trading name ‘Monash Tigers’ will not continue and we will again compete as Richmond Cricket Club in the Victorian Premier Cricket 2020/21 season. In consultation with, and the support of, our major stakeholders in Cricket Victoria and the City of Monash, I am delighted to share this news with you today. Whilst present day circumstances are particularly difficult due to Covid 19 and the cricket season ahead will be affected, I invite you all to return to your Richmond Cricket Club when we are able to celebrate all together under the Richmond name. Details to be advised. Go Tigers Danni Dodgson President RCC
