It’s a home where you receive tailored supports co-designed with you based on your needs. Supports could include (but aren’t limited to), Medication Management, Domestic assistance, Capacity building to maintain your home, capacity building with shopping, preparing meals and cooking, support to self-manage. Support with every day activities in and out of the home. We support you to live out your life choices in a safe, supportive environment. We have properties that are shared accommodation with other people on the NDIS as well as units where you live on your own with supports. We work collaboratively with your existing support network and we specialise in supporting people with pyscho-social diagnosis but we support you based on your needs and goals not based on a diagnosis!

24.01.2022 International Overdose Day Pictured is RFT worker Tash with a display that was created by participants from the Connect In Centre. International Overdose Day is held annually on 31st August. It aims to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma of a drug-related death. It was a positive way to acknowledge the grief felt by families and friends remembering those who have died or had a permanent injury as a result of drug overdose.

24.01.2022 Expression of Interest: Accommodation options for Northern NDIS participants Richmond Futures is a leading NDIS provider of psychosocial disability support in Tasmania.... We are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from NDIS participants for a new site in a central Launceston city location. About The property comprises of a collective of four to five individual units that will have on-site support. One unit is an accessible ground floor, single bedroom unit. Five additional single storey units, spaced over two floors, compromise of open plan living and kitchen, single bedroom and bathroom. The units are closely located to Launceston’s city centre and hospital. Richmond Futures will offer Supported Independent Living and work with NDIS participants to develop a roster of care to suit their needs. The lay out of the units may also lend itself to possible Individual Living Options (ILO) arrangements. There is a shared laundry on the ground floor of the units and some on site parking available. The shift times will vary as this is a service that provides 24/7 support. Richmond futures has a current vacancy for the right person to share a large, central Moonah home with four other NDIS participants. This spacious home over two floors boasts amazing views, established gardens, relaxing outdoor seating areas and the good company of other residents. Support staff are rostered 24 hours per day and provide shared and one to one wellbeing and capacity building supports. Adele Jarvis has a Bachelor of Social Work and many years' experience in Mental Health, specifically managing residential facilities and outreach programs for those with severe and persistent mental illness. Adele also has clinical leadership experience within grief and bereavement. Adele has a passion for working with those who have slipped through the gaps and require professional and compassionate support. James Martin has spent the past two years working in residential services, has a BSc (Hons.) in Psychology, and a Cert IV in Project Management. James is passionate about developing a better-connected and more collaborative sector. James will focus on building relationships, developing best-practice training material, providing secondary consultation and responding to crises We are happy to report that our team is now growing. 06.01.2022 ECSN Practice Consultant Part Time 0.8FTE This position will work with the Exceptionally Complex Support Needs Program (ECSN) team to deliver the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) objectives of the ECSNP including to develop and maintain sector linkages, networks, reputation and awareness. The position will support sector workers to access urgent supports, provide options for additional supports and work with people to implement urgent plan reviews within the ND...IS. It is responsible for reducing the impact of gaps between services and facilitating smooth transitions for people who have complex support needs. This role will also undertake sector and community development activities, including subject matter expertise activities to build capacity to support NDIS Participants with complex needs. Providing secondary consultation, program and training design and after-hours crisis response to approved referrers. The ECSN Program now provides secondary consultation for people working with NDIS participants who have complex support needs or circumstances. This service aims to provide additional support to those working in complex situations by offering guidance, contacts and resources that will improve ...outcomes for the participant.
