24.01.2022 DEVASTATED We've not posted on the Richmond High School Choices page for some time, and that is because there has been no need to. Richmond High School was announced in 2014, planned, designed and built in less than three years, opening in 2018, to great community support and gratitude. It was, therefore, with great sadness and shock, that we hear of the sudden passing of the Foundation Principal, Colin Simpson. Colin was the Foundation Principal that Richmond High School n...eeded, a visionary and passionate educator, and a former student of the original Richmond High School. Without his dedication and commitment, the school simply would not have opened, let alone thrive the way it has in just two years. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the students, teachers, staff, parents and supporters of Richmond High School at this very difficult and challenging time. Justin Naylor Foundation School Council President, Richmond High School Convenor, Richmond High School Choices
15.01.2022 As Trevor Cobbold points out, private schools have adequate assets which could be used as security for short term funding. Unfortunately, public schools do not have this luxury, and scramble for adequate operational funding, let alone capital project funding. Now is the time to improve funding to the public school system, to cater for the inevitable student transition from the private school sector, which will occur from Term 1 2021, if not earlier.

06.01.2022 When the Richmond High School Choices group was formed back in 2006, this young man wasn’t born. Now, on his thirteenth birthday, Xavier starts high school at Richmond High School. Good luck to all the Year 7, 8 & 9 students at Richmond High School!
