24.01.2022 When the students all return to RHS, there are some letters and coasters waiting for them. Mr Lin's cousin's students wrote to our students from Taiwan, hoping to find some pen pals. Exciting!

24.01.2022 Today we remember our Foundation Principal, our mentor and our friend, Colin Simpson. While Colin is so terribly missed his dedication to the public school system, to Richmond High School and to our students and staff is certainly not forgotten. He was an inspirational, funny, kind and visionary human. When it is safe to do so we look forward to hosting a community event to unveil our Principal portrait of Colin. It will be a time for us to be together to share stories and m...emories. Finally, and most importantly, today we think of Colin’s family. Our love and thoughts are with you always. The Simpsons have requested that if members of our RHS family would like to make a donation to a charity in Colin’s honour, please donate to the Children’s Ground Organisation, an organisation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children: childrensground.org.au/campaigns/in-memory-of-Colin/ Feel free to share your kind and loving memories of Colin below

08.01.2022 Round #2 teacher hiring via Zoom. We have students on every single teacher interview panel. Student voice is particularly important to us and in this process they have equal influence for choosing the appropriate candidate as each of the staff on the panel. The big question...can you imagine this person teaching your class? Shoutout to Al and Samantha who were our fab student representatives this morning!

07.01.2022 What’s better than a Richmond Grand Final win? One more sleep until we have all of our students back While it’s been soooo wonderful to have the Year 7s back, we’ve all been waiting for tomorrow when our happy, kind and hard working school is back to on site learning. See you tomorrow everyone, I’m more excited than the night before my birthday
