18.01.2022 RICHMOND ON PROPERTY SALE - 29th Sept LOT -12 TAG - 190189 Mic - 18.1... SD - 3.0 CF%- 99.8 YWT 8.3 YFAT 0.3 YEMD O.4 YCFW 21 STAPLE LENGTH AT 5.5 MONTHS - 105mm A high quality and safe all round sire prospect with a great combination of density and industry leading staple length. He has a very white and pure fleece wrapped around a heavy early maturing body with great barrel and depth through the flank. He has a calm yet confident demeanor and is bred from the consistently successful 130579 sire line. We could have easily retained him for stud duties but have listed him in the sale with the option of collecting at the purchasers convenience post sale. Please note he will be sold after lot 2 in the catalogue. See more

18.01.2022 A very sincere thank you from the Ryan family to all buyers, underbidders and all those involved in making this year's ram sale a success. 100% clearance of rams at $2277 average with a top of $10,000

13.01.2022 Classing clients rams last week and found this bloke snaffled for $1000 at the back end of the 2019 sale. More of these wools will be available at this year's sale this Tuesday Sept 29th.

SD - 2.9 CF% - 100 YWT 7.0 YFAT 0.7 YEMD 1.2 YCFW 20 STAPLE LENGTH AT 5.5 MONTHS - 100mm Another high quality 170013 son with a great mix of carcass and fleece traits combined with a good breech. 10.01.2022 Better late than never. Our genomics results came through this evening and many rams have improved across the board in their ASBVs We will provide updated printed sheets for tomorrow's sale. Also for those travelling from the north the Caragabal/Quandialla road is closed so give yourself time to divert East via the driftway road and then back through Quandialla.

07.01.2022 RICHMOND ON PROPERTY SALE - 29th Sept LOT 13 - tag 190068 Mic - 18.5... CF% - 99.9 YWT 7.8 YFAT 0.9 YEMD 0.2 YCFW 22 STAPLE LENGTH AT 5.5 MONTHS - 90mm A very interesting young sire. He is a long bodied, growthy ram and is structurally correct carrying a white, sharp crimping fleece with density and alignment. He has the rare combination of high fat, fleece weight and a terrific bare breech and for this reason it is likely that we will collect semen from him at our expense and the purchasers convenience post sale. 06.01.2022 These 4 rams will be offered at our on property auction next Tuesday. All rams have good carcass traits, are structurally correct and have fleece weight ASBV's of over +20. Most importantly however they have soft, lustrous, elastic wools that will process well and can be worn next to skin. We need to breed more of these wools before our industry is flooded with the mass produced generic fibre that will eventually push the customer away towards alternatives.

01.01.2022 Classing some extremely high quality hoggett ewes and young rams for the Lawson family of Cookardinia last week. The Lawson's buy a top end Richmond sire every few years to breed rams for their own flock and this year's group by the $10,000 2018 sale topper 170018 are exceptional for structural soundness, fibre quality and density. 170018 had a wonderful strike rate of quality sons and is a full ET brother to the very successful sire 170013. The wool pics below are all from his sons that they retained for use in the ram breeding nucleus. They are productive rams with density and fleece weight on supple wrinkle free skins.
