The wonderful Sharon Rootes of Summer Breeze Consultancy will be offering an Infant Massage ‘Taster’ on Wednesday... 15th May from 10-11am in Studio Eternal. This session will cover an introduction to infant massage, outlining benefits and uses, demonstration of some massage strokes and ways to incorporate massage into baby’s daily routine. Best suited to babies aged 6 weeks to 6 months. Cost is $50 for one hour session with oil and resources included. 21.01.2022 A first for me! These 3 month old babies came in for a visit today. Feeding 3 hourly with puppy formula, including 3 hourly overnight but settle well after a full tummy! Mummy coping well with night feeds and resting during the day. Having more wake and play time. Adorable! Xo

20.01.2022 Today I went to the pre-conference event ‘Educating the Nurse of the Future’ review at the 15th Annual National Rural Health Conference and has the most wonderful conversations with Maureen & Jane at the CWA stall. I went to the session, walked around the stalls and reviewed the program. I couldn’t find anything specific to RRR women, and in particular, rural mothers. I didn’t go with an organisation, a crew, take-away bag or t-shirts, but I went with a voice. I may have only... spoken to a couple of people, but I was still heard. My voice is for all the RRR women out there who are alone, isolated, disconnected and have feelings of being overwhelmed or hopeless. I carry your stories and work for your heart; I value you all, I believe in you all and through the likes of the CWA, NRWC and support services like my own Summer Breeze, you are never alone and we will ride the wave with you.
