10.01.2022 We have had a great book review returned by Anna. It is about Fatima the Face-Painting Fairy. This book is from the Rainbow Magic series, which is popular with all our Junior Fiction readers who love fairies, magic and wonderful friendships. There are usually some Rainbow Magic books in the Mystery Books at Lismore Library. Most of them have a 'Fairy Warning' on the front, so they are easy to find! (Yes, I know - you aren't supposed to know what the book is about till you get home! Sometimes we cheat!) Mystery Library books can be found on the first floor of Lismore Library. #TheyDontAllHaveClues! #AreYouBraveEnoughToTakeOneHome?

09.01.2022 Congratulations Rosemary - our major prize winner for the Tweed Area Libraries ! Rose won a new Samsung Tablet during our #getonlineweek ZOOM party. We also had a major winner from Lismore, Ballina, and Byron today. Congratulations to all of our brave new ZOOMERS who joined the fun!

09.01.2022 We were rapt at Lismore Library, to receive these photos from someone who is really enjoying our 'Take and Make' holiday activity kits. Brody is in hospital getting his tonsils removed. It seems you get lots of ice cream when you have this operation. Brody has been using our 'Make Your Own Comic' kit to make a comic about eating lots of ice cream and not sharing it with his sister! His mum did include a photo which shows that he IS actually sharing! (We knew he would!) Well done Brody, for both a fantastic comic and for being so generous with your ice cream. Take and Make kits can be collected by children with a library card. (If you are in hospital, we will let someone pick one up for you.) #LismoreLibrary #GreatHolidayActivityKits #ComeAndSeeWhatWeHave

09.01.2022 Congratulations To Christine Healy who joined the #getonlineweek Celebrations at Tweed Heads Library and won a book voucher! 03.01.2022 This week we received a book review from one of our many 'Hot Dog' fans. Hot Dog and his friends are created by the wonderful author, Anh Do. There is always a little bit of chaos where-ever Hot Dog goes, and this time is no exception. There's crazy knot tying, raft-making, an epic biscuit-eating competition...and so much more! Toby, we love your book review and we love that you love Hot Dog books! Thank you for sending this in to us. If you would like a Mystery Library Book, they can be found on the 1st floor of the Lismore Library, wrapped up in paper bags with scary Halloween labels! Come and have a look...if you dare! #HalloweenMysteryBooks #BooksWithBoo!

01.01.2022 This Mystery Book review, by Caleb, was posted previously. Unfortunately the review and the book had been separated, so the title of the book he read and wrote about was a mystery. ...until Caleb visited the library last week and told us that the book was The Tinderbox by Christian Andersen! Mystery Book mystery, solved! Thanks for clearing that up for us Caleb. We hope you picked up another Mystery Library Book while you were back in the library. #LismoreLibrary #SoManyMysteries!
