24.01.2022 Project Boat progress update: it's exciting times we have pulled out all of the rotten timber within the boat and have now secured a brand new transom and have all the new stringers cut and ready to be put in. Like our page to keep updated on what will be a real head turner of a boat once it is completed. We have some exciting modifications in mind.

So that means places such as river street boat ramp will experience s...ome salt water inundation into the car park. Tidal run of 6.5m for (Mackay outer harbour) (7.0m Hay Point) 4.2m Shute Harbour) (3.9mBowen) This for next Monday and Tuesday. There is some weather as well to talk about but that’s later in the week. Tuesday’s forecast Fine and sunny. Maybe a shower or two about Bowen 32 Proserpine 34c Mackay 31c Whitsunday
23.01.2022 Gale wind warning for offshore central coast waters SSE 25 to 30knots increasing to 35knots on Wednesday afternoon south of Mackay. So in other words stay off ...the water. On land: showers increasing to rain arears later today with some moderate to heavy falls developing. An initial flood watch for creeks and rivers from cape York to Mackay. Also it’s the highest tide of 2020 round 11.20am 6.5m so if your beach faces the south there might some minor erosion problems come high tide. If your out and about and near the ocean I would like some phots of the today’s king tide. Whitsunday

Bowen 29c Proserpine 33c Bloomsbury 34c The valley 26c Eungella 19c the place to be Mackay 28c Sarina 28c Remember with these northerly winds Airlie Beach isn’t the place to park ur boat. Last night a small yacht came adrift and ended up on the beach. So if a follower and happen to be in Airlie on a boat it might be idea to anchor your boat in a place that protected from the northerlies. Have a good hump day. Whitsunday

01.01.2022 Good morning weather watches. Ok I have some news that is sort of good and sort of bad. The bad news is where expecting a strong south Easterly surge to come th...rough Mackay this evening, and the Whitsundays early tomorrow morning. Unfortunately for boaties this means seas will become rough. The good news is this south Easterly will carry showers with it. However I suggest if u have outdoor equipment it might be a good idea to tie them down. The actual surge line could have wind gusts to 35knots so this may cause some things to move as the change comes through. Finally the heat will disappear for 5 days. So enjoy the cooler weather from tomorrow. Today will be the last one for the heat till Sunday.
