24.01.2022 Meet Aleksandar, who has been an engineer with us since 2014. He's standing in front of Anadara Residences located in Barangaroo, Sydney. The curved portion of the building is called The Cloud, as it features curved sliding perforated aluminium screens which slide into the parking zone at the ends of the building. Aleksandar says, "It was one of my first jobs which included more than 20 types of façade elements... from curved sliding panels, to automated louvres ,claddin...g ,glass balustrades and perforated ceilings." Pretty impressive!

20.01.2022 How better to celebrate and welcome the year 2000 than with a 15 metre high, 180 tonne sculpture? We helped engineer the pictured ''Body Zone'' sculpture housed under the London Millenium Dome in 1999. You can see our other key work at rickardengineering.com

18.01.2022 Amir has been a Structural Engineer with us for over 6 years. Here he is on-site at one of his latest projects - 50 Norwest, for one of our clients, Hi-Tec. Amir's role on this project is to engineer the Façade which includes the curtain wall system, shopfront glazing system, the perforated aluminium sunscreen panels and 2.9x3m sliding doors. 50 Norwest is positioned in one of the few addresses within Norwest Business Park which provide direct access onto the Boulevard, so we are sure it’s amazing exterior will be admired by those who are visiting the bustling business district.

15.01.2022 Using GRC, Taree's Big Oyster was created in 1987 in celebration of the fabulous Oysters found in the NSW coastal region of Taree. Engineered by Charles Rickard, the Oyster appears to have giant, gleaming teeth, but these are actually huge windows that allow for panoramic views over the coast.

11.01.2022 Is it already September?! It's time for another #throwbackthursday with one of our ‘’Big Designs’’. This Big Merino ram stands at an impressive 15.2 metres (50 ft) tall and is located in Goulburn, Australia. Did you know it has been nicknamed "Rambo" by the locals!

09.01.2022 One of the most important elements of a building is its exterior façade and that just happens to be our specialty. A 67 storey building with a complex curtain wall system. That's what we've engineered at 380 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne, alongside our client SRG Global - and she's a beauty.! Have a closer look. ... https://rickardengineering.com/portfolio/380-melbourne See more

06.01.2022 Described by The Star's CEO as "a project of incredible scale," Rickard Engineering will be showcasing our capabilities in GRC on the transformation of a Gold Coast icon - The Star Gold Coast. We've worked on hundreds of projects both locally and internationally, and are excited to kick this one off, as it will be a key feature of the beautiful Gold Coast skyline upon its completion in 2022.

04.01.2022 Our team are always ready to put their skills to the test every time we embark on a new project. We are excited to update you all on something new that we are gearing up for - 150 Lonsdale, Melbourne, working with SRG Global. We are certifying engineers for the ground floor lobby and retail facade as well as podium glazed facade. Podium facade consists of unitised curtain wall and vertical perforated aluminium feature fins. Feature fins fixed to CW mullions are 3.5m high and 0.6m wide. They are always a good challenge to design as they must satisfy the strict limits for robustness and fatigue while maintaining the architectural intent. Find out more about some of our other projects at https://rickardengineering.com/works
