25.01.2022 Rolling through a few heavy sets now. For the next 3 days rep ranges will be 12 reps x 4 sets. My program is starting to ramp up. At the end of this program I hope to row 130kgs for 12 reps consistently over 4 sets. Today was 115kgs for 12 reps over 4 sets and felt rather comfortable.

21.01.2022 This block has officially come to a close and I’m really happy with the overall results. Goal was to eliminate heavy loads in order to desensitise to that particular stimulus and also increase volume and endurance to maintain a hypertrophic effect. This was very much achieved. Deadlifts up x 4 reps at the same weight Squats up x 4 reps at an increased load. Bench Press x 2 reps at the same weight. ... I will be making this program available to all in the up coming weeks. Really excited to move into my next block of training to see how much more progression I can make.

19.01.2022 It’s just wasn’t my day today. As the loads have been ramping up I’ve fallen short by 1 or 2 reps on most lifts. This is infuriating however not all progression is linear. We’ll take stock, reload and go again. GAME ON!!

17.01.2022 Little bit of old footage coming your way, but none the less still pretty wrapped about it. I nailed a 210kg dead of a deficit for 7 reps (granted 8 should have gone but I was a bit puffed, it was heavy ). This makes me arguably the best athlete I have ever been. Lighter and stronger Moving into my new program I’m hoping to nail this for a solid 10 and see where that leads. ... That’s my bit of good news for this iso Friday

17.01.2022 Little bit of progression over this covid lockdown period. The original pictures I weighed in around 86kgs - 88kgs, in the new ones I’m weighing around 92kgs. So travelling along nicely. Little bit of fat in that but mostly muscle. Strength is up for all lifts and nearly on par with my totals when I weighed in at 105kgs. So that tells me I’m a much better athlete, performing the same output at a lower total body weight. All of this accomplished with DB’s, BB’s and 1 cable... accessory. Just shows you don’t need as much as you think to make some substantial gains. In the near future I’ll be taking on a handful of clients again. If this is something you might be interested in feel free to let me know. Otherwise have a great day. And remember this is just Instagram, how you look doesn’t determine your worth. You’re awesome

16.01.2022 First Spartans session back and I’m well on track for this blocks 200kg deficit deadlift. Tonight’s session had 180kg x 10 reps move what felt really quick. So I’m excited for the next few weeks being back on home soil and chasing some big lifts.

16.01.2022 Little bit of back work today. This is Set 2 and it’s a little rocky so we’ll tighten it up but happy with how everything is tracking along. Set to break a few PB’s by the end of this block which is exciting.

13.01.2022 I feel for those who have been prepping over Covid and potentially looking down the barrel of not being able to showcase their hard work to their friends and family. I’m also really grateful I had the chance to do that last year before the world went mental.

12.01.2022 Medium Session 2 (12 reps x 5 sets) - Today’s weight started off rough because I’m coming to the end of the training week. But once I got going it moved freely. What you’re watching here is set 5. This last set I wanted to see how quickly I could move the weight. Building nicely!

11.01.2022 COMPARE THE PAIR!! So many gym Bro’s will hang it on you for squatting with a pad during a barbell squat (me definitely being one of them). These same gym bro’s will congratulate you on a good squat when using a safety bar that has a pad on it Do we have double standards? Absolutely!! And don’t you forget it . Pads are stupid on a barbell squat, but rather comfy and nice on your neck during a safety bar squat It makes no sense does it haha

11.01.2022 200kg paused deadlifts x 5 reps. It’s nice to be back and starting to move heavier loads again.

10.01.2022 Working really hard at keeping my stomach from rounding off. You can see as I fatigue my stomach starts to lose its definition. This is what I’m working on; trying to make it better.

08.01.2022 Light bit of shoulder work today after a big heavy bench session.

07.01.2022 PEAK WEEK! Today’s goal 12 reps x 100kgs. I had worked hard over the last 6 weeks to achieve this but unfortunately it didn’t happen. The plus side is, I’m up 3 reps from where I first started. I’m 15kgs lighter and only 5 reps away from my all time effort. Potentially in another week or 2 I could achieve the 12 x 100kgs which would make me a better athlete (power to weight) then I was pre competition. So some positives to take away from today’s efforts but unfortunately today will be marked down as a fail.... DAM!!!

05.01.2022 Played around with a new posing routine and created a tik tok account #imcoolnow.

03.01.2022 Cheeky little dips to finish off today’s session.

03.01.2022 In this short film I teach you the missing step in how to use figure 8 lifting straps. Even the highest viewed youtube films are not teaching you this step.

02.01.2022 Today’s session was the 2nd/4 heavy days. It was set to be 190kg x 8 however feeling good and accidentally miss calculating, I ended up performing 200kg x 8 reps for 4 sets. Which puts me well ahead of where I should be... super exciting. If I keep trending like this I’m set to hit an all time PB. If you’re interested in setting up your training like this stay tuned. In the next few days I’ll be posting a short film about how to set your programs up properly.
