20.01.2022 Thank you to the customers. Every one of you, every fan. We hope you and your family have connected with nature in some way or been inspired to imagine and dream. We now have 2 Australian businesses "designing" and making their own version of bug catchers, after wholesaling our products. We feel disheartened as our whole business model was around these products and connecting to nature. We know business is tough and we had wonderful product line but can't compete in this... situation. The good news for you the customer is other people make them. They are calling them a bug box, home or bug catcher. . It has been a reality check for us and a good reminder that "passion or love of making" is not always part of the real, harsh business world. We are reconsidering our handmade business and options for the future. Rick took pride in his work, making every piece unique and individual. We tried to keep prices reasonable which may have been our downfall. We hope you stay around for the evolution of Ricky Dee's Eco Toys. See more

08.01.2022 The world is so big. Ah but it is waiting for you.

06.01.2022 Clarity. "Your dream does not have an expiration date. Take a deep breath and try again."

06.01.2022 So we have pet insects for sale. Spiny leaf insects which can be posted. Weird idea. They are smaller than in this picture which can help them. They are transported with leaves, and will travel with a courier. If interested these are on our shop or just message us. We have a few local people interested but they can travel. Butterfly Hill has partnered with Ius and we are collecting caterpillars this week to raise into chrysalis! My sweet potato veggie is coming in handy. More videos about keeping spiny leaf insects tommorow. Have a lovely evening. #noosa
