We have restocked on fruit trees ( about 500 ) and these will all be out by 11.30 tomorrow. Then there is all the spring flowers, lots of colour, beautiful. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been through the business and appropriate steps will be taken to ensure we are a part of the solution. 06.01.2022 Something different, this is story about what happens at the end of a trees life. This giant 40m plus Poplar (Populus alba) came down after another of the same species fell onto the adjacent tree. The damage to the garden was significant taking out paths, watering system’s, and so many wonderful old plants. It’s hard to grasp, but after a week of reflecting we can now see a new beauty in the space and light of this once shaded bed. Like the families who planned this garden, who gave us the beauty we have been lucky enough to enjoy, we will plant for future generations. #gardenforthefuture #poplarwood #poplar #trees #beauty #plants
