16.05.2022 We're looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer to help us with our marketing, social media and building brand awareness across Riddle Room and Axxe. Approximately 10 hours a week on an ongoing basis (1-3 month trial then ongoing). Must be based in Canberra. The successful applicant will be able to work with existing assets and designs to create new and updated versions of social media posts, flyers, posters and add some new life into the brands.... Must be familiar with the Adobe Suite (mainly Photoshop and Illustrator). Work from home with the occasional meeting in-store to discuss brand strategy and ideas. Choose your hours how you'd like. Product and delivery focused, negotiate weekly/monthly design goals. Talent > experience. The position might suit a graphic design student. 14.04.2022 Looking for something a bit more interesting and flexible? Come join our Riddle Room team! We're looking for fun, enthusiastic and confident people. Approximately 2 - 12 hours a week (more hours available for people who want them). It is highly desirable to be available weeknights, weekends, and to be able to pick up shifts at short notice.... The position involves hosting groups of 2-8 players, briefing them on the safety rules and tips for playing the rooms, monitoring groups while they play, and general cleaning/ minor maintenance. If you want to do something a little bit more exciting, fun, and flexible than your average job, apply now! 25.01.2022 Things are a little bit scary at the moment with COVID-19 making it's way to Australia! We're doing our best to help prevent the spread of COVID-19: All Riddle Room sessions are private so you'll only play with the people you bring.... We've increased our cleaning schedule significantly. We'll be asking all players to use hand sanitiser before entering our games. We'll be temporarily discontinuing the use of blindfolds when entering the room. We've removed all warm-up puzzles and brain teasers from our foyer. We'll be keeping an eye on all the health updates and government recommendations. 20.01.2022 In accordance with the latest government updates for the COVID-19 pandemic, Riddle Room is temporarily closing its doors to the public. As an entertainment venue, the government has closed all non-essential entertainment to help stop the potential spread of COVID-19. We have contacted all customers with bookings in the next few weeks via email. If you have a reservation and haven't heard anything, please message us on Facebook, and we'll let you know about the options.... We hope everyone is staying safe and looking after each other. It is going to be a hard time for everyone, but especially for small businesses, so if you feel like helping out your local businesses, you can buy gift vouchers to help them stay afloat during this challenging time. Since we have no idea how long this thing will last, we'll be trying to come up with other ways to bring the world of escape rooms to all of you, lovely people.
