09.01.2022 We at Ridgey Didge Pies honour our Anzacs. A lot of people ask where did the saying Ridgey Didge come from? Well the Australian diggers created their own slang fighting on the battle fields in the Great War (1914-1918). Sayings such as Dinky Di, Fair Dinkum and Ridgey Didge became engrained in Australian slang. Put plainly...Ridgey Didge means simply the BEST!!!! The British use the word Super and the Americans use the saying Mickey Mouse to convey the same meaning! So if y...ou're going to have a Pie make sure it’s a Ridgey Didge Pie!!!! Simply the BEST!!!!
