The legislation was approved by parliament today with the support of the major parties but was opposed by the Greens. There have been many changes to the industry in recent times, including changes to education/qualification standards, a new code, fee structure changes and increased disclosure requirements. We suspect that this ongoing decline in adviser numbers is not what they intended.
