23.01.2022 Hi Everyone, I'm just about to send out a 'Special Edition' Newsletter to keep you in the loop about our plans for the 2020 Conference given the current worldwide situation as regards Covid-19. 21.01.2022 Today's marathon 2020 Conference Committee Meeting saw us manage to fit all of our great speakers onto the program. We have so many fabulous whole group presentations & masterclasses for you to attend in September!!!

17.01.2022 Things are really starting to happen with the 2020 Conference now. In a few days we will open the Trade Table Registrations - these will be done online this year. Shortly afterwards we will open the Early Bird Registrations. I will put out the next Newsletter with details in the next couple of days. Also check the website.

15.01.2022 Wow - just heard Diane Blishen speak. She is one of our 2020 Conference presenters. Her Historical Mapping Project is amazing. She has researched so many primary sources to include in the work she has been compiling for almost a decade. Can't wait to hear her again at the Conference!!

15.01.2022 Very pleasing to see that we already have 24 Trade Table Registrations for the 2020 Conference. Great to see that people are thinking positively about the future.

15.01.2022 We are slowly making contact with all of our 32 speakers for the 2020 Conference & checking that their placement on the program is suitable for them. So far, so good :-) As our speakers confirm their details we are putting their bios & photos up on the website. Keep checking for these updates at https://ridingthewavesofhistory.com.au/speakers/

07.01.2022 Check the website for our online form which allows you to secure your Trade Table/s for the 2020 Conference. This year our Trade Fair will only run on Friday & Saturday. We have arranged for the FHS tables to be on the top level of the Starlight Room where our NSW/ACT Members & Conference Attendees manning their stalls will have a great view of the talks in the auditorium both days. Our more commercial trade tables will set up in the Greenhouse at Wests where the public can attend both days. Our program will allow plenty of time for visits to the Trade Fair.

05.01.2022 Our good friends at Sandgate Cemetery are sponsoring our 2020 Conference by printing our Conference Programs for us. A huge thank you to Northern Cemeteries/Sandgate.

03.01.2022 Hello Everyone - it is interesting to note the renewed interest over the past week or two in this Facebook Page & also in the 2020 Conference Website. We have had 6 new registrations for the Conference Newsletter in the past few days & 2 Trade Table Registrations. This probably reflects the more optimistic outlook everyone has as restrictions are gradually eased back. We are still no closer to knowing whether the 2020 Conference will be able to go ahead. A decision will have to be made shortly based on current regulations governing our venue, Wests New Lambton.
