14.01.2022 #Hahndorf is a small town in SA’s Adelaide Hills. Settled in 1839 by Prussian and east German Lutherans, it’s Australia’s oldest surviving German settlement. With so many settlers having arrived aboard the Zebra (ship), they decided to name the town after the ship’s Danish captain: Dirk Meinerts Hahn!
