More will be in the forward march beyond too. Nevertheless, a one thing we are ardent to share with you thankfully. You always were there to push the RIDMA forward. Without hesitation RIDMA moved forward, glancing forward, eyes fastened only onto the target. Your applause or criticism were welcomed with the same level of significance.

18.01.2022 RIDMA Foundation would like to thank Perth Children and Parents who support and participate in our events, our invaluable sponsors, and the Perth Community for the countless ways you have assisted us during last year (2019 ). As a not for profit organisation, RIDMA team has learnt many lessons during the last year and looking forward to the challenges ahead in 2020. We have chosen two rural schools in Sri Lanka to assist in 2020 with the funds raised last year. They are well ...deserving schools and you will get to hear about the projects as we progress. Please also spare a thought for those who are less privileged; children who walk miles to get to a school, schools without proper sanitation, lack of resources and countless other hurdles to receive a proper education. We invite members of our prestige community in Perth to participate in this righteous event to show how we as a community think about our fellow Australians in need of lifesaving blood.

04.01.2022 Today we are celebrating 75th Anniversary of Sri Lankan free education. In 1943, Dr C. W. W. Kannangara the Minister of Education introduced the Free Education Bill in the State Council. After much debate, it was approved for implementation and on 1 October 1945 the Free Education Policy came into effect. This policy states that every child above the age of five and not more than sixteen is entitled to free education. Most of us were not from privileged backgrounds but we all had an excellent education because of Dr C W.W Kannangara. Didn’t we who had received so much, owe something to our motherland? Wasn’t there something we could do? Couldn’t we light a candle rather than curse the darkness? The RIDMA group was born of this concept. Let's light a candle.

01.01.2022 COVID19-Support for International students First RIDMA Foundation has offered the support for Sri Lankan international student life line database with help of Uchitha Ranasinghe .That help to identify different need for the students in WA. Then RIDMA Foundation organised another community support activity by donating food for 35 international students from Sri-Lanka including 16 families. A pack of dry ration was given away for each student/family and home delivered for thos...e who were unable to pick up. The cost of dry ration was personally funded by members of RIDMA Foundation. In addition to dry ration, cooked meal packs were also offered with the help of Vijitha Kalubowila & Prashadi kalubovila ,Nadee & Hasitha . Priyanthi and Kumari Kulasekara offered their help by donating long life milks packs Special thanks to Gayathri De Silva(Nirosha) from SG Universal Marketing who has initiated this good cause and keep it going with community support.
