15.01.2022 Congratulations to Brenden Maxwell who is undertaking a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) for winning the 2017 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Stu...dent of the Year for the RIVERINA/MURRAY REGIONAL awards, sponsored by NSW Skills Board. Brenden’s father and grandfather were automotive mechanics and this led to a lifelong fascination for mechanical devices. Brenden was given the opportunity to undertake work experience at Temora Aviation Museum Engineering whilst at school in Yr 11 & 12. The appreciation and interest for the historical importance of the aircraft and the purpose of the museum further convinced him that this was a career he wanted to pursue. Brenden was offered an apprenticeship after Yr 12. See more

Sam is currently expanding his knowledge and skills by undertaking Diploma of Electrical Engineering with the potential of further studies at university leading to a Degree in Electrical Engineering.
