Firstly how proud we are of Jeff Grosset, Grosset Wines and vigneron David Travers who have invent...ed a wine bottle cap with a built in chip which will ensure the wine you buy is not a fake. This has become a serious problem overseas. The cap will also make the exporting system virtually paperless. Their new startup company is called Entrust and is a block chain enterprise benefiting from the Federal and State investment in Lot 14. Premier Steven Marshall was very pleased to launch it yesterday morning. Later I had the privilege of attending the final Festival of the Lamb event held in the the Mid North over the last few days. Congratulations to Nicola Palmer of the Watervale Hotel for showcasing a wonderful selection of lamb dishes and Warwick Duthy her partner for hosting a top day. As it turned out the forecast heat abated and due to lack of numbers in the Valley we had more options available.
