22.01.2022 BREAKING NEWS 24th March 2020 SARA wishes to advise that there is NO access to the Range, Club houses or Facilities at LOWER LIGHT during this time. Thank you all for your support and patience.

22.01.2022 From Malcolm Flavel: You would all be aware of the debacle of the Commissioner of Police issuing his directive which closed ALL shooting ranges and paintball areas, and then two days later rescinding his directive and placing the onus onto Associations and clubs. SARA Board have discussed this issue and have asked all SARA affiliated clubs to close their ranges until further notice. SARA Board has also decided that the Lower Light range will be closed until further notice, a...nd that the Hunt and Queens meetings will be cancelled for this year. To ensure that members safety is upmost, SARA Board has also withdrawn approval of all OPM’s for this year. If the situation should change for the better, then the SARA Board will re-assess the issue. If your club decides to use its rifle range for shooting, and someone is infected by the Caronavirus, then the club and its members will probably be held responsible. Don’t risk it. If you risk it, please do not come running to SARA for assistance as we will not be able to help you. Your decision to shoot on your range falls directly on your club. See more
