05.04.2022 Who knew about this? So now we are suddenly taking Pommy nuke waste. What an absolute disgrace. Turn the friggin' thing around and send it back to Old Blighty. First they tested their atom bombs here in the '50s, irradiating large tracts of Australia and Australians, now we get this glowing metallic sausage dumped on us. There is no such thing as fail safe nuclear storage or transport. It beggars belief that the Coalition government has done this in complete secrecy. Sounds like we are well and truly back to the bad old, bad old days.

While the US and UK are constantly calling out other nations for their human rights abuses, they are committing exactly the same crime themselves through their dreadful treatment of Assange. Meanwhile, the Australian government has done absolutely nothing to help.

There was a time in the not too distant past that a story like this would have been plastered all over the major media, particularly in light of the recent war crimes investigations.
