13.01.2022 In a first for Australia, RIGCOM is thrilled to announce that it has just received certification by the @Global Wind Organisation (GWO) for the delivery of training in Wind Turbine Blade Repair. This accreditation follows a rigorous audit process, with training to take place from RIGCOM’s purpose-built facility in Sydney. With over 25 years’ experience in training blade technicians around the globe, Chris Rose, National Training & Business Development Manager, said that RIGCO...M provides a world class facility. Receiving this GWO certification reflects the quality of training that we will be providing to help support Australasia's wind energy industry. James Lockyer, RIGCOM’s Director of Wind Energy Services, said that this is an important milestone and reflects RIGCOM’s commitment to upskilling blade technicians and supporting clients to better service this important sector. More information about RIGCOM’s training courses will become available in the coming weeks.

Applicants will need to be able to spend extended periods of time in remote locations, however will be recompensed accordingly. Minimum Level 1 IRATA accreditation in rope access is required, with experience in working with corrosion treatment and blade repair highly regarded.
