18.01.2022 We would like to extend reassurance to our clients and their families that our care services will continue to operate as usual, in line with the latest rules and restrictions, following the changes to the public health order announced by the NSW Government.

17.01.2022 "MND is a global problem. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status or region. "There are people living with ALS/MND all over the world. For every person diagnosed, the impact of the disease will be forever felt by their loved ones." #ALSMNDWithoutBorders

17.01.2022 Another lovely message of thanks from a client who received a COVID thought card, as part of our collaboration with the teachers and students of the Wagga Wagga Christian College.

14.01.2022 Now that masks are mandatory in most indoor settings we thought we would share this handy guide from the World Health Organization (WHO) on mask-wearing DOs and DONTs.

13.01.2022 Did you know 8 out of 10 women with continence issues DON’T seek assistance? Growing older and having children may be the natural causes of bladder leakage, but that doesn’t mean you should suffer in silence (or panic every time you laugh, sneeze or cough!) Get in touch with our continence nurses today, and find out how you can relax and start to enjoy life again - without bladder worries!

12.01.2022 Going away over Summer but worried about a loved one? Often, if individuals are carers for family members, they find themselves unable to enjoy a holiday, or leave for more than a day or two without worrying about how their loved one will be during that time. Our team can step-in while you enjoy a relaxing break! Talk to our team today about how we can assist in keeping up in-home support while you're away.

12.01.2022 REPOST : @rightathome_bromley . . Think and be mindful! ... As places start to reopen and the more vulnerable are able to leave their homes, please bear in mind how some people with the early stages of dementia and other diseases that cause confusion may not quite understand the severity of the situation. Be mindful that the world is a confusing place for them at the best of times and the last thing they need is to be shouted at for standing too close in a queue or for not wearing a mask Of course, keep yourself safe in the best way you can but please be mindful of other situations If you wish to speak to us about dementia or anything else related, please feel free to get in touch

12.01.2022 A huge shout out goes out to our incredible team! 2020 has been a challenging and confronting year for those working in health care, but we would like to thank our team for going above and beyond to ensure our clients continue to receive the care they need in a safe manner.

11.01.2022 #Throwback to 2018 and attending the 2018 home improvement conference in Phoenix, where we as owners of Right at Home got to share and gain information and experiences with international owners from Canada, Ireland, UK, the Netherlands and the US.

09.01.2022 CHRISTMAS CLOSURE Our offices will be closed over the Christmas period from Wednesday 23 December, to Monday 4 January 2021. We will, however, still be available on the phones 24/7 during this time should our clientele need to get in touch.

09.01.2022 Students from the Wagga Wagga Christian College recently made some cards for our clients, which our carers dropped off as they visited homes. We received some lovely feedback on these! Thank you to the students for this generous and kind gesture

09.01.2022 Bringing these stats back because they're SO important around 30% of Australian adults over 65 experiencing at least one fall per year. this is set to increase as Australia’s population ages with the proportion of people aged over 65 predicted to increase from 14% (3 million people) in 2010 to 23% (8.1 million people) in 2050.... Because of this: fall prevention plans are key! A few simple things you can do? Ensure you have adequate safety equipment in the home to suit your needs, i.e., rails, mobility aids Seek in-home care or help if you need assistance completing everyday tasks Remain active as much as possible to maintain levels of mobility and strength - preventing not only a bad fall, but an injury in the event of a fall.

09.01.2022 The perfect balance.
