25.01.2022 When moving into your new home, office or rental property (specially the rental property) rekey the locks so the old keys no longer work, I can’t emphasise his enough for rental properties, insist the owner or age rekey the locks and show you proof to show they have or don’t sign the lease & find another place to live. I tended to another customer who was robbed last night presumably from a previous tenant or a friend of theirs as they used a key to gain access. Good luck col...lecting from you insurance if you didn’t do diligence thing by re-keying the locks when you moved in. This customer woke up to a woman rifling through her things in the middle of the night, when disturbed she fled on foot into the darkness. This could have easily gone pair shape. 19.01.2022 What’s wrong with these hinges? Plenty 1: they should be flush on both sides, not one recessed and the other surface mounted. 2: the screws should all be there. 3: the screws should all be flush, not dome headed so they protrude.... If you have a new door hung check for these things, very important. When the job is done the door should close nicely and not spring back at all. All these things will cause the door to not close properly or put unnecessary stress on the locks and the hinges them selves.

19.01.2022 Left over locked safe, from a previous business needed to be removed to allow space for a piece of furniture. It was bolted from the inside so it needed to be opened first. 15.01.2022 Had a customer call me last night judging from her accent she was Chinese and very distressed. She let her boyfriend talk because he spoke English better then she did, when I got there they both seem to be upset that they had done this foolish mistake in a foreign. Country where they new know one, they locked them selves out, it was almost as if they were ashamed, when I finally got the door open the lady started to cry. He wasn't far off either I could see it in his eyes, she held me and hugged me tight wept on my chest, she muttered some words whilst trying to breath. He padded me on the back repeatedly saying thank you! thank you! I can only imaging what was going through their minds, there is no worse feeling not being able to enter your own home, your castle, your realm of safety, your comfort zone.

14.01.2022 Security door $700.00 give or take, sometimes when your tenant calls you and says they’re locked out do you have a spare key? You need to make a choice. Either you help them out or they do it them selves. It’s nice to think it’s not my problem, if they damage anything,well I’ll just take it out of their bond. There’s only so much bond to go around. This is what you get when you leave it up to the tenant who might be a bit low on cash at that particular time of the month. This is just the front door, by the time I finished it was well over the cost of helping them out and working out some payment arrangement to pay you back or getting off your butt and coming with the spare key.

09.01.2022 In the past week we've responded to 3 break-ins, all 3 having double doors, the doors took less than a minute to open. 2 kicks is all it took, first came the knock on the door, if there was no answer or you took to long to answer they kicked the door in. 2 of the 3 break-ins my clients were home and just didn't answer the knock fast enough and met their thieves face to face.... 01.01.2022 This is an old style Jason lock, the top lever is what breaks, usually when somebody new is operating the door and doesn’t know how, like a house sitter, new tenants or you have a party. Proper instructions to these people before it breaks is recommended.
