24.01.2022 Super sets What are they and why should you use them? Super sets are where you do 2 exercises back to back without rest. They are great to keep your heart rate up or completely obliterate a single muscle group!... Example: Do a bicep exercise then immediately do a tricep exercise. Your arms will be super pumped and best of all very tired haha! Not a bad strategy before the weekend :)

17.01.2022 Finding calm amidst the chaos I read a meme recently that basically said that raising a child is like 'having a blender without a lid'. Well, this 6 month old little girl of mine has that covered. The current buzzword is 'self-care'. I know finding something you love is hard, and in the busy (pre-covid) world, finding time to do things we love is even harder, especially when we have family, friends, jobs, bills and extra curricular activities that all need our tim...e and attention. But, nothing worth having ever comes easy. If you had 15 minutes a day to yourself what would you do? Part of the answer to this is you already do, you just haven't made yourself enough of a priority. Life gets busy, but if you don't look after you, you cannot be the best version of yourself, physically, mentally and emotionally. Today I chose 15 minutes of mindfulness. Tomorrow I will choose 15 minutes of practising my Wing Chun form. Start with 15 minutes each day and see where it takes you. What self-care habits will you create?

The studio has been cleaned and sanitised, exercise equipment is spaced out, and client numbers have been capped to ensure safe use of space. Sanitiser is available to use before and after your sessions. Please wear a mask to and from the studio, and if you feel unwell please reschedule. ... From November 2 you will now be able to train in a capped private group of 4 people, or one on one, outdoors. Indoor sessions will follow VERY SOON! This means if you had missed out on our outdoor sessions due to the two person-limit you may be able to slot in now! I cannot wait to have you all back in the studio soon, and to welcome new faces, to help you both mentally and physically after such a long lockdown. To give you a small supportive community you can come back to for me time again.
