01.01.2022 The NDIAs Pricing Reference Group (PRG) provides advice, through the CEO, to the NDIA Board on price control arrangements for the NDIS. This is to ensure price regulation activities and decisions are coordinated to support the best possible outcomes for NDIS participants during the transition to a competitive market place. The PRGs Terms of Reference (DOCX 50KB) have been updated to better reflect the PRGs role and to support transparency in pricing policy that impact on t...he NDIS. Part of these changes include restructuring the membership to reduce the number of NDIA (employee) representatives to one senior executive (the Chair) and increasing the numbers of independent members from two to five. The PRG is chaired by the NDIAs Acting Head of Markets, Provider and Sector Development, Liz Neville. Two current independent members, Mr Graeme Innes AM and Mr Jim Cox PSM, bring expertise in disability rights and price regulation. A third newly-appointed member is Ms Julie Hulcombe PSM, on the recommendation of the Queensland Government. Expressions of Interest open to join the PRG The NDIA welcomes Expressions of Interest (EOI) to fill two vacant independent member positions on the PRG, each for a maximum term of three years. Independent members will need to demonstrate expertise in one or more of economics, market and/or price regulation, market development, regulatory processes, rural and remote service delivery, consumer advocacy, and experience in the disability sector. Applicants will also need to identify any potential conflicts of interest and how those conflicts could be managed. To express interest, please complete and submit the PRG EOI form (PDF 156KB). Expressions of interest close Friday 31 January 2020, 5.00pm AWST. Direct any enquiries about the PRG to [email protected] or phone 1800 800 110.
