21.01.2022 Proud to have officiated today the wedding of two amazing women, Kittie and Steph, at Pioneer Women's Memorial Garden, near Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne. Such a romantic and idealic setting! The ceremony itself, always a team effort with the wording and content, paid tribute to all same-sex couples who deserve love and happiness like anyone else. Love is love! :)

21.01.2022 Lovely feedback today from Nicole. I had the honour of being the celebrant for her mother's memorial service at The Baths Middle Brighton yesterday... Dear John, I can’t thank you enough for everything you did for us this week, including graciously tolerating all my last minute revisions! I’m so happy that you were the celebrant for today as no one else could have done it more perfectly. It was the most wonderful way to remember my Mum, and I know that everyone present felt... that way too. And I agree - we made a great team! I hope you have a lovely relaxing weekend. XXX Nicole.

16.01.2022 Stepped away from the COVID-19 tension and drama for an hour yesterday as I officiated Elizabeth and Dougal's wedding at The Gables, Malvern East. We also stepped away and kept a safe distance from each other as the guests and bridal party arrived. Sadly, the words 'social distancing' have entered our vocabulary. For the first time ever, these new words were mentioned in my ceremony script. Still, it was a great celebration. Today I get to do it all again at Werribee Park Mansion. None of the normal hugs, kisses and handshakes at this wedding either. Strange days indeed!

10.01.2022 Captured some wedding reception preparations overlooking Florence last European summer...My heart goes out to our Italian friends. They've been through so much; really pleased they're out of lockdown at long last.

10.01.2022 Today I had the joy of officiating this beautiful couple's wedding ceremony. Joseph is a talented artist and inspirational life drawing teacher. Olga is also a wonderful artist and they met through their love of art. Now they're in love and hitched! Such an Italian favoured celebration!...Olga and Joseph, I wish you a fantastic marriage! :)

07.01.2022 Driving home feeling great about the wedding I just officiated as a celebrant. Two men and at long last, after 25 years of being a committed couple, today we made their union official by law. About time and what a celebration afterwards! Congrats Robert and Ian on your wedding! :)

05.01.2022 Let's be honest, 2020 has been a helluva strange year! My last wedding was back on 21st March at the magnificent Werribee Park Mansion. I had the honour of officiating the wedding of Rachel and Ryan and it was just prior to lockdown. Such a beautiful occasion, in spite of me having to state the words 'social distancing' in the ceremony; a first for me! All my other booked weddings have been postponed until late 2020 or early 2021. Although disappointing, this is completely understandable! What I can foresee is that when our lives finally do go back to normal, we'll appreciate more than ever being with family and friends, celebrating the big milestones in our lives with loved ones and that includes weddings! Until that time, stay safe everyone and, of course, I'm always open to hearing from you should you be planning your wedding. :)
