25.01.2022 How to save water at home (and save money) Australians are among the highest consumers of water per capita in the world. Our average daily water consumption is around 340 litres per person and 900 litres per household. We are the 9th country with the greatest water usage on earth, when you factor in industrial water usage. With the season of bushfires and drought in our nation, this is a great time to be thinking about our own water consumption at home. ...Continue reading

23.01.2022 As we enter the holiday season, this is a great time to make a habit of gratitude. How To Cultivate Grateful Habits In Our Finances: 1 CAPTURE THE WINS... Our brains will go down a negative path if we don’t train it to capture the wins. Practise daily mindfulness of what’s happening in your finances. We encourage using financial apps that set out your money so that you can practise seeing what’s happening. Once you can see what’s happening, you can create habits. (e.g. you didn’t buy takeaway today, now you can allocate that money to something that’s really important to you such as paying off the house, kids’ education, holidays) 2 SPEAK LIFE INTO TODAY We’re going to have things happen in our life that’s out of control (e.g. hailstorm hits the car, or the kids break something). What comes out of our mouth directs the outcome of the situation. This is a great place to be able to practise speaking blessing over our finances, situations, and people in our world. 3 CHOOSE WHAT YOU FOCUS ON We have the ability to choose what we watch, read and who we listen to. If we only on the problem, we miss out on the bigger picture and move further away from the solution. Worrying can’t change tomorrow, but it will deplete us of today’s strength (e.g. a slightly higher tax bill arrives and we focus on the bill, leaving us feeling ungrateful, instead of focusing on the blessing of having more income). What we focus on will become our reality. If we focus on fear, it will take us to a place that we don’t want to be. Cultivating habits of gratitude helps us free up our thinking to make great decisions today. Gratitude is your advantage in life. It brings abundance in our thinking, health, work and relationships. #gratitude #finances #gratefulness #mindfulness #thanksgiving

20.01.2022 Do you ever feel like you earn less than most other people? In most cases, were better off than we think. This calculator by the ABC is a great tool to see where you sit in our nation. Wherever you’re at currently - we can all be grateful for living in this incredible country
14.01.2022 An important message about investing during the #covid19 season.
14.01.2022 "The happiness advantage" Shaun's research at Harvard shows that success doesn’t bring happiness happiness brings success. We all chase success hoping it will make us happy:... ...I’ll be happy once I get that promotion. ...I’ll be happy once I get that raise. ...I’ll be happy once I drive that car. But the research shows that isn’t true. You achieve a goal and you’re briefly happier but then you’re looking toward the next big thing. What Shawn’s research showed was when you flip the formula and focus on increasing happiness, you end up increasing success... Watch the video to learn more. #happiness #finances #success
13.01.2022 Thanks Dave & Amy for sharing your story: Since partnering with the Righttrac team, our finances have gone from doom to boom! At the start of our marriage, most of our conversations revolved around "when are we going to pay this bill" and "who can we borrow from?". Money stress started to hijack our conversations more and more.... Then we engage Archie, who took us through a coaching process that brought clarity in our cashflow and helped us get ahead. Confidence picked up quickly and we felt renewed and at peace. Since working with the team, we’re living to a very generous budget, investing in the things that matter, and we've never had to stress about a bill in the last 2 years, (i can't even remember the last time we were late to pay!) because everything is planned and ready for. Employing a financial coach has been one of the best decisions for our money, our marriage and our kids. The Righttrac team are always innovating and improving their service. We’re excited and confident for the future - thanks! - Dave and Amy

06.01.2022 This is a great time to reconnect with family, catch up on sleep, reflect, write down and evaluate what's important in life. Putting aside the loud media voices, focus on the silent, inner 'still' moments - where we can give ourselves permission to pause and use the opportunity to think and be still in the process. #stayathome #stopthespread
