23.01.2022 Say it with us: it’s okay to take breaks! You don’t have to exercise 4+ times a week to get results a recipe of regular exercise + adequate sleep + plenty of rest + time to recover will yield better results than training yourself into the ground, day in day out. Promise.
23.01.2022 Investing in our health is SO important. Is there something you can think of you waste money on? Maybe a trip to Kmart for a pair on socks somehow has you leaving with a trolley full of "stuff, maybe you spend money on botox, maybe a really expensive dress you wore only once, perhaps a subscription to a fitness app you never use. My point? You worked hard for your money, and you would probably never feel guilty about buying the kids all the sports equipment they need... so why should you feel guilty for investing in your own health and wellbeing, too? If you need new runners or a pair of new spunky shorts for your next Bod Squad challenge (starting next week!), go get them and let’s smash spring!

16.01.2022 TRUTH BOMB... social media is so full of "perfect" people in "perfect situations", and lately I have been getting a little frustrated with my own feed and had to unfollow a few people. Influencers with fake boobs, fake nails, hair extensions, fake tan, botox, lip fillers etc posting like: hey girl, love yourself for you, our imperfections are what make us special, just do you... etc. No wonder our young girls and women are struggling. I AM STRUGGLING with it. It’s ok to hav...e insecurities and feel vulnerable, it’s okay to do whatever you want with your body... but I feel social media can be really damaging in these scenarios. If any particular people make you feel his way, click unfollow (they won’t know). For me personally, that means goodbye Lauren Simpson, as well as a handful of others. 14.01.2022 Do you talk to yourself? I don't do it as often these days as I talk to Coach (my dog), but every now and then I still catch myself having a good old chin wag to myself. Adam came home the other day and caught me talking to no one, and he said: "Are you talking to yourself?". My reply? "Of course I talk to myself, sometimes I need expert advice."

05.01.2022 Imagine waking up with a pulled muscle and trying to hide it. Trying to not walk with a limp, standing up straight, and not show any pain on your face. How about a dry cough and trying to go to work without a corona test? Try to hold in a raspy husky cough and hope no one will notice. Now imagine having mental health issues and not talking to anyone about it. Sounds horrible, right? Remember... it’s okay to talk about your pain, whether it be a pulled hammy or mental health. Just because mental health isn’t making you physically sick, doesn’t mean you can’t express your feelings. If you ever need a chat, reach out... I’m always here.

That’s a huge lot of smack talk Sorry to burst your bubble... happiness is something you need to learn to create on your own. Happiness is a choice! When you finally find the one... that’s someone who ADDS to your happiness. Never rely solely on another to create your happiness. Make your own! You can do it!
03.01.2022 When you get real busy, hectic, craz-zay town... what's the first thing that you stop doing? Sleep less? Cook less (or eat more take out)? Exercise less? When I get really overwhelmed and busy, it's ME that suffers... why?! Maybe I don't workout, or stay up too late working, maybe I procrastinate and get unproductive because every time I tick something off the list there is another 100 things waiting for me to do! In 2021, my mental and physical health comes first! I refuse t...o put myself on the back burner, because I'm far more productive if I commit to myself and knock out a workout or get a good sleep! I can't do everything and I'm slowly coming to terms with that so get ready for planned days and way more sweat sessions! Now tell me! What falls off the list for you? Be honest girl, so we can achieve some goals this 2021 together.
02.01.2022 Story time! This big guy makes my heart so full. People keep telling me one day I will love a kid as much as I love him and... honestly... I love him so much it’s hard to imagine! People also always ask me why... why him.. like, if I owned a cavalier I’m positive I wouldn’t get asked that question The answer is, I have always loved being a bit different. When I was 11 years old my step mum Jane worked at Lennox Head Vet. I would LOVE going there after school. One day, a bi...g black Great Dane walked in (I remember it like it was yesterday!) His name was Veronski. He was majestic! I looked Jane in the eye and said to her Jane, I am going to have a dog like that one day. She looked me back in the eyes, she smiled and she said, I know you will sweetie! She has always believed in me and even better, helped me achieve all of my dreams. She never laughed at me or made me feel as though I couldn’t do anything. I believe being raised like this, and being constantly empowered, is why I have been able to be so successful as an adult in reaching for my dreams and grabbing them with both hands
