25.01.2022 2018 Toyota Hilux SR5 duel battery system and electric brakes Just finished a very high quality install on this Hilux. 100AH AGM aux battery, redarc BCDC1225 charger, solar input on red anderson plug, redarc V3 Tow Pro Elite, Engle/12v socket in tray, 12 pin trailer plug upgrade. ... All my jobs are now standard using my very own European style OEM tough exterior and cloth interior tape. Soon to be released to the public and workshops. No split conduit was used on this job All earths are picked up from factory earth points Single cables at battery terminals, not 4 or 5 crimps like many other people do. All wiring follows factory wiring harnesess and is made to look as factory as possible. All wiring is made in one neat harness for the entire job. You wont find 2 or 3 rows of spilt conduit being ran in the same area from me. All caravans and trailer plugs are fully tested before and after using my own unique caravan box. I can simulate real towing electrical loads and calibrate and fully test the electric brake controller to max load. You will struggle to find this service from others. If you think its all the same, the last picture is of a new Colorado and Holden charged him $130 an hour to get an apprentice to put that shit in. This job took 11 hours to complete to the standard that i follow. If you want QUALITY accessories installed that match or exceed the standard of your own vehicle, its a no brainer who to call

24.01.2022 Todays customer saw a cool little mod done to his Jeeps stereo system by yours truly. Installed a 3.5mm Jack AUX port to his factory radio by splicing wires from the redundant 6 disc CD staker in the rear. Looks good!

24.01.2022 Its important to understand that there is a difference with the end result and quality when trying to get a dirt cheap job done compared to a high standard job. It ISNT the same! First picture is a customer who refused to pay for what i recommended while doing a full boat electical fitout, unlike the second customer/ picture. If you get 2 quotes for the same job and one is $5k and the other is $10k, this is a good example of it.

Accepts alternator input from any vehicle, whether smart alternator or not. MPPT Solar input (most efficient setup for solar) AGM battery, not lead acid. Will last 5 to 7 years 2x 12v sockets, either Engel socket or 2x USBs Auto reset fuses No messy external wiring, everything is built in the box Easily swap between multiple vehicles. Jump start feature with battery cable and solenoid Redarc BCDC1225 with red anderson for solar Duel volt display on dash made for 200 series Landcruisers 3x USB/12V/ENGEL sockets in rear. All wrapped in our own in house Interior and Exterior tape This customer didnt need our custom switch panel (not yet ) Some people may try and call out my chosen location for mounting the DC-DC charger, this customer mainly wanted this setup for a fridge in the back of the vehicle which wouldnt overheat the redarc unit. For any owner who tows a caravan and has a 3 way fridge (hot wires off aux battery), plus 1 to 2 12v fridges in vehicle, this is the only situation ive found that can overheat and de rate the Redarcs. If your one of those customers, then buying the Redarc front grill bracket and mounting yours there will be the most successful location. Rikki

08.01.2022 Lithium batteries are starting to be a popular option for a lot of caravan owners because of the huge weight advantage. This customer has a 250AH AGM weighing in at 74KG that doesnt even last one night. We are swapping it out with a 14KG Enerdrive Pty Ltd 125AH lithium battery equivalent of 200AH in AGM power. We are also updating the charger from the alternator and solar to be compatible and more efficient with MPPT charging. Massive gains all round!

05.01.2022 How much do you love your cold beer? A basic duel battery system will see around 2 days of power for your fridge and accessories but how does 8 DAYS SOUND????? Enerdrive Pty Ltd have produced a stunning 200AH lithium battery system that I fitted to the rear of this 2019 200 Series Landcruiser. I also install a Toyota style duel volt gauge standard on all my duel battery systems on 200 series vehicles but Enerdrive have also got a handy bluetooth app for you to monitor more detailed information. Dig deep if you want the best setup, this customer is set for the next 20 years and their 200AH lithium batteries are currently around $3000.

I work on these cars more than any other vehicle and with my unique switch panel made just for the 200 series Landcruiser i can achieve the most professional electrical install in Australia. Fridge socket Caravan camera system installed (vehicle side) Another fitout with a custom factory style braided harness suited for his application. Correct sized wires and circuit breakers for all his caravan power feeds. High temp engine bay tape used for all exterior and engine bay wiring Soft cloth tape for all interior wiring Split conduit is 100% eliminated Upgraded earth wires for trailer plug are ran from factory earth points No low quality connectors or joins. All soldered wires New trailer plug, anderson plugs and camera leads are always fully tested after install, simulating your caravan being connected All electric brake jobs i do include in-depth caravan testing before any work is carried out on the vehicle. I always test the 12v fridge, battery charging, brakesafe charging, ESC, all brake and indicator lights as well as load testing the house batteries and load testing roof mounted solar panels. This gives me a good idea on the condition of the van and what wires i need to run on the vehicle when i do the electric brake install. This also gives me the opportunity to find issues with older caravans, which in my experience is highly likely to find an issue or two. This job start to finish was 11 hours. If you want your electric brakes done cheap and rough, go elsewhere. Ive had 100% success rate for years with all my electric brake installs. No warm fridges, no flickering tail lights, no blown fuses and no melted pins in trailer plugs. Theres no room for error when it comes to brakes, as well as when your on your much needed holiday.
