18.01.2022 A Customer Experience: We hear all kinds of stories from our customers, but one of the most touching recently was the experience of; lets call him Mr Nick. Mr Nick came in a couple of months ago. He had just had the most traumatic experience. He was attempted to get out of his lounge chair, took a topple and fell to the floor where he stayed for three days! He didn't have his alert on, nor did he have his phone close by so he was unable to call anyone.... He remained on the floor until a young neighbor came searching for him because he hadn't seen Mr Nick at his mailbox. Unfortunately this is an extreme case of a situation that happens all too often. Due to weakness in their legs, or a bad back. our elderly and sometimes younger have a great deal of difficulty getting out of their chairs. They are putting too much pressure on their legs which cant support their weight at this angel and down they go. More often than not breaking a hip! Liftchairs have become more and more popular after the "Smokey Dawson" Chair campaign years ago. Liftchairs are designed to assist you to get up out of their chair, but gently elevating the chair til the person is more or less in a standing position. then they just have to step into their walker or use their walking stick if need be to move forward. Mr Nick came into the store with his story and he wanted something special. He was happy to spend the money and get the perfect chair to suit his needs. We organised for one of our Australian Manufacturers to make up the Manhatton Lift Chair. (Pictured Below). It has gorgeous rounded arms complete with french piping. A very supportive yet comfortable back. Mr Nick wanted to Dual Remote Control which allows him to adjust the back of his chair without accessing the recline or the feet up position. The chair fully reclines, allowing you to sleep in the chair too. Mr Nick chose Saddle Brown Leather for his chair and he was pretty impressed with his choice. He says its the best thing he has done for himself in a very long time. He says its so comfortable and the colour is perfect. He was patting himself on the back that his design looks so great! 16.01.2022 #Australian Made We had the pleasure of designing this lounge suite for a customer. This is a 3 seater Lounge with 2 manual recliners. We have had it made... in Warwick Eastwood Fabric. It has a vintage leather look without all the disadvantages of leather in a hot climate. The great thing about this fabric is that it is very hard wearing. Its rated commercial. We recommend this fabric if you have pets or kids! We have a lounge we designed in this fabric and have fully pet and toddler tested it. Our cat cant destroy it with her claws as it is self healing and cleaning fur is as easy as using a fur removing cloth and wiping it over. As far as toddler proofing, mooshed in muslie bars just takes a wipe with a wet cloth. Leaked milk or fluids also easily cleaned with a wet rag and allow to dry. It leaves no residue or stain. The lounge itself was made by Lanfranco who is based in South Australia. Made from Australian Timbers and Dunlop foam. Its comes with upto 15 years warranty.
