05.01.2022 To all my wonderful clients. No doubt like myself you are all aware of the current situation with COVID-19 and may have seen last night’s decision by the Prime Minister to limit the time a client can stay in a hairdressing salon to 30 minutes. Personally, I think this is an irresponsible decision. I feel that for a hairdresser to do the best job possible it is difficult to maintain a 1.5m social distancing gap while working on a client. Also, 30 minutes is not a suitable time... frame to be able to provide the type of standard I would like to maintain for all my clients. This sickens me to say but, my children and I have decided to self-isolate and therefore in the best interest of my clients and my family I have made the difficult decision to close my little business after tomorrow until I can comfortably open the salon without the risk of potentially passing on this virus that we know so little about. I would never forgive myself if someone became ill because of my myself or my business. I hope you all stay safe and healthy during this time and I believe as a society it is our responsibility to flatten the curve. I hope to re-open my business very soon. I will miss you for now.
