24.01.2022 The perfect getaway for these times!Comfortable sc holiday accommodation for up to 6 people. There's a whole valley to explore, and beautiful views all round. Still plenty of availability for April in the School at Rimfall. Message us on this page if you are interested. Firewood provided for indoor heating stove.

21.01.2022 Worth listening to this rant. Good on him! Don't use these booking sites. Book direct!

19.01.2022 Social distancing around the fire pit. Checking the distance with a burnt stick

19.01.2022 Please remember to confirm your booking if you tentatively booked ahead during covid 19 and have not yet paid a deposit. Nice weather for walking here.

15.01.2022 Part of our Hoop Pine plantation, started in 1993. The trees have done well and are now a forest. This was once a Joint Venture with the DPI (when we had one!) but is now wholly ours. This was part of a farm forestry project that was promoted in the 90s to provide timber for the future without using existing native forest. We have about 30 acres on the steep country on the south facing slope that used to be very weedy. The trees suddenly seem to have become very tall!

14.01.2022 It's good to see the cattle in good grass again. Farmers are still farming just the same as usual, which is good news for the food supply! Unfortunately we can't accept immediate bookings for Rimfall cottage until restrictions ease, although you can make a tentative one for the future.

13.01.2022 Just had a cancellation. The 6 th to the 9thJuly is available for Rimfall. Send me a message if you are interested.

12.01.2022 Just to let everyone know I have finally cancelled the land line with Telstra. It has not been properly maintained for years and has had one fault after another. Just not worth it! Both Ken and I have mobiles that are more reliable (as long as the single tower on the railway line keeps going! )

10.01.2022 Winter skies! They have been so beautiful. Rimfall has been very busy. So nice to see again many of our favorite guests. We've been very busy since the lockdown ended.

09.01.2022 Business as usual on the farm. It's good to see so much grass again. We yarded the steers a few days ago to treat for buffalo fly, then they were let into a new paddock. You can see them in the first photo. We practice a system of paddock rotation so that pastures recover quickly. Cottage is still open and we are taking bookings. As a lot of you know, it is quite isolated and not near our house.

08.01.2022 Look no fence! A new spacious look for Rimfall cottage. Actually there is still a fence but it's lower down below line of sight. A glorious day. Waiting for the travel restrictions to ease! Feels odd for it not to be busy.

07.01.2022 Winter skies! They have been so beautiful. Rimfall has been very busy. So nice to see again many of our favorite guests. We've been very busy since the lockdown ended.

05.01.2022 The old Rimfall gate has been mended, braced and re-hung! It opens without lifting! So heavy! I did say.. "Most people would just go and buy a new steel one!.."

04.01.2022 Thank you for sharing this lovely photo, Leanne. The Silky Oaks are looking lovely just now. Those roses have been there for almost 100 years

03.01.2022 Reflections late afternoon. The water is so cool and clear.
